 ABOUT WORKSHOP PROJECT

In 2013, we formed Workshop Project as a place to imagine what a pedagogical graphic design practice could be. We began by initiating a series of projects whose goal was to discover the form of this new practice by producing its artifacts. These artifacts—lectures, presentations, workshops, and an online archive of our work and process—engage us in dialogue with our colleagues, students and peers.
Workshop Project is Yasmin Khan and Jessica Wexler. We are design educators and practitioners with over two decades of combined experience teaching, designing curricula and coordinating faculty within diverse public, private and for-profit institutions. In our individual practices, we specialize in publication and identity design for clients in the art and cultural industries.
Yasmin is a faculty member at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, California. Jessica is an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Graphic Design department at Purchase College, State University of New York.
